Work Experience:
 

• Joined Life Insurance Corporation of India, Surat Division in Nov. 1971 as an Assistant (Clerk) and took early retirement on 15th August, 1999 as In Charge Manager (Legal & Housing Property Finance).
   
• Founder Director of Channel Surat (the first ever local TV concept) since 1994, early retired as Production In Charge and News Editor in 2002.
   
• Editor, Gujarati Daily News Paper ‘Channel Surat’ from 1999 to 2002.
   
• Editor (All Supplements) of ‘Loksamarthan’ daily News Paper from its inception in 2002 to 2004.
   
• Joined as Reporter of biggest daily of Gujarat, ‘Divya Bhaskar, Surat Edition’ since its inception in 2004 and early retired as Sr. Reporter in 2008.
   
• Deputy Secretary of The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Surat for 10 months in 2007-08.
   
• Manager (PR) of Mumbai School of Business – MSB since its inception in Surat and worked 14 months of 2008-09.
   
• Manager (PR) of National Group – Institute of IT & Management (NG-IITM) since Nov. 2009 till date.
   

TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
 

• Trained hundreds of Life Insurance Agents and Staff members during my work in LICI.
   
• Took classes of Communication in English at Soham Classes for five years from 2002 to 2007.
   
• Worked as Guest Faculty of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat for the Post Graduate Course of MA (Journalism) and MA (Mass-Communication) for about Six years from 2002 to 2008.
   
• Worked as faculty member of Mumbai School of Business (MSB), Surat running learning centre of MBA programme of Bharthi Dasan University, Thiruchirapalli, India for 14 months.
   
• Took about 50 Seminars in various Schools and Colleges in South Gujarat area for Case Study and Computer Education concept for National Group – Institute of IT & Management.
   

DRAMATICS – STAGE SHOWS:
 

• Started acting in plays since 1967 for the School Dramas.
   
• Started Producing – Directing – Acting plays from 1969 to 2002. Performed renowned One Act and Full length plays during School – College – Social life.
   
• Participated and won many prizes in Inter School/College Drama Contests, Government Youth Festivals, Full length play contest of Surat Municipal Corporation (Since 1969 to 2001), Gujarat Dance – Drama Academy, Gujarat State. Hindi One Act Play contest of All India Artists’ Association, Shimla since 1970 till now.
   
• Judged all the contests of drama where I was participant in past.
   
• Wrote criticism, reviews and articles of Drama for all local Dailies including Gujaratmitra, Gujarat Samachar, Sandesh, Divya Bhaskar, Pratap, Nav Niraman, Nav Gujarat Times, Indian Express for decades.
   
• Worked as office bearer of LIC Sports & Recreation Club, Surat for 28 years and organised – participated rich Sports and Cultural activities.
   
• Conducting and participating series of cultural – literary programmes at Sahitya Sangam, Surat since 2004 till now.
   
• Conducted ‘Gramophone Club’ – a monthly stage and daily TV show on Channel Surat from 1999 to 2002.
   
• Conducting and participating in ‘Geet Gata Chal’ – a theme based monthly Audio – Visual stage show on Track Music of Old Hindi Film Songs since July, 2007 till now.
   
• Anchored more than 200 Live Antakshari Stage shows on stage in entire Gujarat from 1999 to 2002.
   
• 2010 being the ‘Vanche Gujarat’ year, during Golden Jubilee celebration of Gujarat State and Gujarati literature, I am presenting a World Classic Drama every month in Sahitya Sangam for Gujarati Sahitya Parishad, Narmad Sahitya Sabha and Sahitya Sangam.
   
• Presented more than 50 audio – visual presentations in various Cultural Groups / Social Clubs of South Gujarat for appreciation of Old Hindi Cinema. Some of the most popular shows were based on life and times of great singers of Hindi Films Md. Rafi, Mukesh, Kishor Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Manna Dey etc.; Musicians Shankar-Jaykishan, Naushad, Madan Mohan; lyricists  Gulzar and Sahir Ludhiyanvi. Special programmes on ‘Golden Decade of Hindi Cinema – 1951 to 1960’ and ‘Great Gujarati Artists in Hindi Films’.
   

QUIZ CONTESTS:
 

• I directed a daily TV Quiz Show ‘Jo jeeta wohi Sikandar’ (based on ‘Kaun Banega Karodpati’) for two years of 2001-02 seasons.
   
• I was Quiz master for more than 150 Inter School, Inter College and Inter Institutional Quiz shows. Recently conducting special Quiz shows for various Senior Citizens and Ladies Clubs of South Gujarat.

• ‘Yadgar Vanchan’  of 2004, 2005 and 2006 – all in Gujarati.

• Preparing Power Point Presentations in English and Gujarati, on various informative – entertaining – motivating subjects and mailing to about 3,000 youths 3 times a week since 2008.
